라틴타입 <Bohne>는 산세리프 계열의 휴머니스트 산세리프체이다. 글자에 두꼐감이 있고 가독성이 좋아 본문과 사인에 모두 적합하다.
‘Bohne’는 독일어로 ‘콩’이라는 뜻인데, 단단하면서도 둥근 서체의 형태와 어울렸고 서체의 특징적인 알파벳인 o와 h가 잘 드러나는 이름이다.
이 서체는 휴머니스트 산스인 Frutiger의 영향을 받았으며, 직선적이고 단단한 스템과 곡선의 강조, 라운드의 장식적 요소와 standard x-height로
전체적으로 단단하면서도 부드러운 인상을 준다.
The Latin typeface Bohne is a humanist sans-serif font. With its well-balanced weight and excellent readability,
it is suitable for both body text and signage. The name Bohne, which means "bean" in German, complements the typeface’s sturdy yet rounded form, while also highlighting its distinctive letters, o and h.
This typeface is influenced by the humanist sans-serif Frutiger, featuring strong, straight stems combined with emphasized curves and decorative rounded elements. With a standard x-height, it conveys an impression that is both solid and smooth.
